EMCEMI Proudly Sponsor the Simon Green Jaguar Team … and help Bring the Cat Back.

EMCEMI are thrilled to be sponsoring Simon Green Motorsports, as they debut their magnificent Jaguar XKR-S GT3 at the Dunlop Britcar 24 hour endurance race at Silverstone this April.

The EMC shielding specialists are sponsoring Bring The Cat Back, a key project for the Bedfordshire based Simon Green Motorsports. Jaguar have long represented the very best in British motoring, and Simon Green are working hard to bring this iconic British marque back to the top of international endurance racing. The star of the show is their stunning Jaguar XKR-S GT3, with its supercharged 4.2L V8 engine, breath-taking 600bhp and top speed of 175mph. With the support of sponsors such as EMCEMI Ltd, the team certainly hope to make their mark on the endurance circuit.

A world-class performance car is only part of the picture of course. The Jaguar is run by Simon Green and his team, who between them have the broad spread of skills and expertise needed to keep the car performing at its very best. Finally, the XKR-S GT3 is driven by two talented drivers who have the physical and mental stamina that endurance racing demands. The Jag is driven by former BTCC and LeMans veteran Anthony Reid, and Freddie Hunt, son of British F1 legend James Hunt, who looks forward to making his endurance race debut at Silverstone.

Motorsports have long been a passion of EMCEMI Ltd founder John Castle. Sponsoring the Bring the Cat Back project made perfect sense to him: an opportunity both promote John’s dynamic new company, and also support this growing name in British motorsports. Launched earlier this year, EMCEMI Ltd are specialists in supplying EMF and RF Interference shielding products. John and his team recently launched their new facilities in Essex, where their on-site machinery and expertise allow them to produce and supply EMC components within an incredibly fast lead time (often within 7-10 days) for their customers.

The Dunlop Britcar 24 hour race takes place between 24 and 26 April 2015 at Silverstone (Northants). News and information about Simon Green’s Bring The Cat Back project is available at their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/BringTheCatBack.
